The six episode costumedramaseries tells the dramatised life story of the three first Dutch Kings: King Willem I, King Willem II and King Willem III. Six episodes look back on the history of the Dutch royal family in the nineteenth century through the narrative voice of the young Wilhelmina. The series was broadcasted every Saturday evening between 6 March 2010 and 10 April 2010 on AvroTros Npo 2 and was later repeated.
